Our check was supposed to be here monday. not! ss*ending '02'? |
in the newspaper we read that people with social security numbers ending in 02 would get their stimulus checks on monday(direct deposit) we did not get ours. why? People who file a return after April 15 will receive their economic stimulus payment, but probably about two weeks later than the schedule shows. A return must be filed by October 15 in order to receive a stimulus payment this year. See the online calculator for an estimate of the amount you will receive. Did you e-file or did you go to a tax filing service like H & R Block? It does matter, because those who had direct deposit with H & R block or a few other services are recieving theirs by check later in the month. (Actually, I think the checks start May 9th). The checks were issued on Monday for people who had a direct deposit on this year's income tax refund. It takes time for them to hit the banks. |
