u can get ur ssn only at the ssn office and only if u are...
1. an American citizen
OR
2. getting paid in America..job,biz...

Google for the address of the SSN office nearest to ur place...

If you don't know it already, probably the best solution would be to take your id to the nearest Social Security office and request a new card.

If you need it immediately: check health insurance cards, school transcripts, bank records, W-2 form from work. You could also get in touch with your parents to see if they have it recorded somewhere.

Look in your wallet or sock drawer.

It depends on what you have going on. If you have a job it will be on whatever papers you filled out like a W-2 or whatnot. Motor vehicle would have it if you have an ID from them. If you are in school they will have a record of it. Regardless any official agency would have a record of it. It might be on something that is just laying around. Any bank that you have an account with would have it.

I'm thinking that with all the new rules and such you probably wouldn't be able to actually call somebody for it if nothing else works. If all else fails find a social security office.

your w2 form

On your Social Security Identification Card.
That's where I found mine, it's been there for years.
