Expulsion at school...is this right?

ok so today i was walking in front of a store near my school on a lunch break. and a women who owned the store was taking pictures of me with one of those throw away cameras. and it kinda pissed me off that she was taking pictures so i stopped in front of her store and looked right at her so she could get a good picture...and i thought to myself why shouldnt i be taking pictures of her too? so i pretended to take a picture after that i was followed by security and they said theyd called the cops on me for harassment when alls i did was exactly what she was doing. Then after I got back to school I had to talk to my principal where she informed me I was being expelled from school for pretending to take a picture...is that at all right? is there anything i can do about this?
also it says no where in my handbook not to take pictures of people..

there is no more to the story.
she has made accusations against many people from my school saying that they said racial slurs to her and threatened her.
shes just a shop owner who happens to be by the school.
i have 5 witnesses who have my back on this one.
and i just dont see how they could even do that since alls i did was what she was doing. she also has it all on video. shes made it so bad for us at our school that we get punished for walking on the same side of the sidewalk as her store.

no thats not right get you parents down to the school to gets this sorted out. You can call the school board and make a formal complaint.

Next story-----

I don't think your school has any jurisdiction off of school grounds, especially for something that isn't even a crime! I would say you were wrong, but that is about the extent of it? Pretending to take a picture is not taking a picture anyway!

Why was she taking your picture? I would suspect that a store owner near a school has plenty of reasons to take a picture!

Try this scenario. Someone comes and lingers in front of your store, You were robbed before. You then come back and SEEM to be casing the store. Would you tell anyone of your fears and show a picture of who you suspect? Without a leg to stand on, your principal took the best immediate action. To get back to school, you might need some legal suggestions.

As I see it

There is more to this...

This is a huge overreaction. Is their any way you can get a contact of the woman? Ask the store clerk if anyone used a credit card at that time, so you can get a name. She could explain everything. If not, just tell someone your story, and ask for their support. Even better, get a petition going!

r u sure this is all their is too it.if yes then its extreme

honestly, you can win agaisnt the school in almost any argument. Just make a HUGE deal out of it, tell friends,s chool friends, workers, employers and most importantly tlak to newspapers and city news teams. The more mess you make and threaten to make for the expulsion, the better theyd elt you off the hook, especially if u make them sound stupid for expelling them.
