I heard the nsa can intercept almost all(or all) radio waves, then can they intercept our thoughts?

because each thought is made of a particular brain wave right? and nsa doesn't have to obey laws becuz they're out of supreme court jurisdiction to protect "government security"

Google "total information awareness". Don't wet your pants.

No brain waves but there is computer in Maryland called Excalibur- it intercepts every phone call, every e-mail, every fax, every telegraph message, every cell phone call that is made .There are certain words that are red flagged and become taped for possible action on. A few of the words are kill, bomb, explosion, assination,,kidnapping, etc. The general public does not know of the existence or the magnitude of this project- I have no problem with it if it makes us safer.
By the time a project of this nature becomes known it's usually because they have a new and improved method. The technology amazes me.

NO NO NO.

All of the things you said above are false. The cannot intercept almost all radio waves. There are just too many of them.

Your thoughts cannot be intercepted. An EEG can show brain activity, but there is no way to translate that into the content of your thoughts. Think about it this way, do you think in words, pictures, smells, etc. Probably a combination of them. No way to intercept that.

Also the NSA must comply with the laws. In fact for them to listen to radio waves, etc overseas, the must abide by the Foriegn Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). They aslo have to folow the Patriot Act.

Whether you think that those laws give them too much power, is not the point. The NSA must follow the laws.
