Welfare question?

Here is another welfare question slightly different than the other ones I've read recently. First I'm on Social Security and I'm not poor contrary to popular believe. The government can and does give many people the freedom to live inp any apartment/condo. Second, I recieved 2 brain surgeries, one that made me semi-paralysed on the right side and a back surgery for Spina Bifia. It is not my choice to be this way by any means contrary to popular believe. And before my surgeries I had a normal job paying taxes like everyone else. I don't like one of our members response to a question stating that everyone on welfare were slobbs--very immature...

Welfare and Social Security are definitely two different things. If you have worked, you paid Social Security and are entitled to those benefits when you become disabled to work for any reason!! Many people put down welfare forgetting that there are so many families it helps out, especially families with children. It has gotten the bad reputation because of people taking advantage of the system. And now with all the illegal invaders going on welfare with fake I.D's and fake papers, it has really gotten a bad name. That's why my state has limits on how many years you can collect. You are not a slob or any of these other insults. Tell those people to {uck off!!
