Why did we allow the Chinese thugs in blue to push UK people about at the Olympic flame event last week?

What legal status did they have?
Would our security people be allowed to do this in China?
Did we agree to this in advance?

We need to import some head cracking American cops to keep these rap bags in line. When will we ever get a government that shows zero tolerance to these hooligan chop suey troublemakers, why do need them here in the first place, ship em all back to china and they can protest aginst their chinese leaders all they want, yeah, right.!.....hah.!

If you don't like the Chinese position on human rights that's one thing and you can boycott them as a nation and punish them economically.
If the UN had any balls, which they don't, they could move the Olympic Games elsewhere ASAP and let the athletes of the world compete as planned.
How is disrupting the torch relay punishing the Chinese government?

I have never heard about Chinese "thugs in blue". I mean, do you refer to the Chinese police, preventing thugs-who may be UK citizens-from harming the Olympic flame?
And since Thugs are mentioned: I have heard indeed about thugs in stockings who came to arrest Milosevic (may God avenge his death!!!) in 2001, without proper lawful orders, and attacked good citizens who were busy defending lawful ethical rules.

Australia's PM has ruled out Chinese guards for the flame here, not that I care since I am not so very in favour of perpetuating a Nazi-inspired ceremony if there is no freedom to peacefully protest.

Because we have a gutless, spineless Government who should have agreed to boycott the games by now.

They aren't security, they are actual police, and it was agreed to in advance. The Olympic Committee and China would never allow it to go without all kinds of security.

And even with the police (both French and Chinese) the French protesters were able to put out the flame twice.

That is why in the UK and in San Francisco in America the security was so tight. They didn't want a repeat of that event where the flame was put out.

And yes, when the UK (and America) had the games their police/security forces were allowed in every country that was part of the pathway of the torch.
