Does anyone know where and how I could get the info neccessary to get paid while taking care of my old parents

My parents are both 90 blind and very hard of hearing they can nolonger take care of themselves and need constant care. they get social security but i don't want it to come out of their pockets, i have heard they also qualify for this caregiving because they found some money put aside for world war II vets. is this true.

Okay so if your parents are 90 then you are at least 60 and will qualify for social security soon yourself. No you cannot get paid to take care of your parents. You can get a tax break, that's about it. www.caregiver.org You can get lots of info there on caregiving.. but you can't expect to get paid to take care of them. They didn't get paid to raise you.

call your department of senior services. your county chould have a website (nameofcounty.gov) and they will have the phone numbers that will put you in contact with the right people. Good luck.
