What are the circumstances to recieve ssi if you are going to have a kid but not get married? |
this is a social security question. i hate their toll free number. You can not get SSI for having a baby... I'm not sure what the limit is, but unless you make more than a certain amount, a single parent can recieve benefits, but you should make sure this is what you want to do, and not just try to cheat the system. SSI is for people who are Tax payers should not be forced to supplement your income. SSI is for those who are disabled in some way. Your child out of wed lock is not our responsibility. It varies state to state! Get a job! |
