Airports securities?

ok... my 12 years old bro got this belt and the belt buckle is in a shape of a knuckle duster but its alot smaller u cant even fit ur fingers thourgh it.
we went through the securty check then the security guy took the belt and asked my bro to come with him in to a little room
my bro went in for like an 45 mins then 7 police men came in and start questioning him and was telling him how he could get arrested and he was crying his eyes out ( he is only 12!! ) he nearly got kicked out of the plane.
don't u guys think its abit much over a stupid belt??

the airport was in hong kong... yeh i think i should use the airport in china lol
this one time my dad brought this human foot ( because he teaches human bio for a uni in hong kong )
and the guy justed looked at it and let him through lol
crazy right??

YEA i THiNK THAT iS RiDiCULOUS. POOR BOY. SOME PEOPLE GO OVER BOARD WiTH THEiR JOBS ACTiNG LiKE THEY ARE MORE iMPORTANT THEN THEY REALLY ARE.

safety precautions. its not like he was arrested. i mean its been all over the news how security is stricter now

i suggest that before you travel, go on the airports website for a list of things accepted on board and whats not accepted

Well, you see, in China.... I accidently brought a very dull knife on board. My sister was a diebetic... Those needles, and my grandma brought Garden scissors. We weren't asked any questions. As far I can see, Make your brother move to China! ^ ^

My husband went through the same thing and was arrested. Brass knuckles are illegal to conceal, but to show them they are suppose to be okay. I had a FFL officer to tell me that anyone under 21 is illegal to have anyway. You know the world. The laws apply to certain ones anyway.

Its a bit over the top sometimes, I got stopped twice coming back from Bahrain the other week and they emptied my handbag on the counter, gave me funny looks and went through my purse, yeah right like Im going to hide a bomb in there. But this is the price we have to pay when travelling nowadays.

Laws vary from country to country. it is you duty to find out what they are and adhere to them.
if it is the law in their country you need to respect it

Terrorist use childeren to do their dirty deeds, they could have just confinscated the belt and left it at that though, instead of scaring him. I hope your little brother isn't scared of police officers now.

i think their a bunch of idiots.when does one learn common sense.then again,thats probably why their in that job.
