Can hired security actually push and cause you to hurt yourself? |
I was thrown out a club, literally pushed and then hit the ground on my knee....I'm hurt, the security guy through me out because of a disagreement, not because I was fighting or causing problem the person I went with actually had a brief arguement witha girl, but security threw me out because I wanted to tell them what actually happened..... Dependant upon state law, if you reside in the US, it is unlawful for security to initiate any form of first offensive contact. It's a tremendous liability upon the employer of the said agent who acted in such a manner and results in many lawsuits, every year. At least in the State of Georgia, if a security agent/officer/guard/operative engages another person, they may only do so as a response, and only to protect life and property. That is it. Their authority is no more so than your own, and may only affect a Citizen's Arrest, if even that. File a report with the police department, hopefully the club has a video to back your claim. If nothing else happens, maybe the guy will get fired for man handling a woman, I really feel like he went over board in the future, it is better not to hang around a club Stay out of clubs and things such as this won't happen. You were at the wrong place at the wrong time dude. |
