Can mall security kick me out for...? |
Can mall security kick me out of the mall for having a piece of paper taped to the back of my MacBook that says "Unlock / Jailbreak your iPhone." while sitting outside the Apple store? I did this and several Apple employees came out and told me I had to leave. Then 5 mall security officers came and told me I had to leave. I had to go to work, so I did leave but if I go back again can they legally MAKE me leave for this? Yes. Yes. It is private property, and if you are disrupting things (which you were clearly trying to do) they can make you leave. YES yes they can it was a complaint laid by the people who are at the place you were loitering at Yes they can..... it is private property run by private "cops" that are hired by the mall and the businesses.... yeahhh im sure they can because unlocking the iPhone is illegal. they have the right to ban you forever, you should have been arrested on a stupidity charge,,,,,,hope you grow up before you die of old age A mall is private, much like your home. Just as you can insist that people leave your home, they can insist that you leave the mall, for any reason or just because the do not want you there. For what you do, you can even be arrested by the police. |
