you can get your social security card with your b.c. and your school id or your school program card. If you have a medical insurance card you can use that too. You can use a hospital card too.

If you need more information you can go to www.ssa.gov

ok i dont have school id or anything else so that was helpless Report It

so bassically im screwed!!! Report It

well if your grandmother has your original documents, why don't you ask her to let you use them to gain another copy of your SS card.

Please take a moment and breathe.... if you are 16- do you have a drivers license? take your birth certificate and your drivers license down to the SS office... and get a replacement.. getting replacements aren't that hard.. I've had to do it several times

you have to have your birth certi" and your state i.d.

You need a photo ID along with your birth certificate. You can use a school ID, a state ID (which you can get in most states with your your BC)

Your grandmother or parents should have used you ss# on their income tax forms and there should be files somewere with your ss# on them. Then maybe you can get Texas I D and use that to get new S S card

You can request a replacement Social Security Card, you need your birth Certificate, go to the nearest Social Security Office, they are listed in your phone book. Call first, because some smaller Offices are not open every day. You can get your second Id Card at the Department of Public Safety, Driver License Division. This will cost a one time fee, not very much. This will provide you with the two id's you need. Call the DPS first and find out what you need to bring for your ID Card and when they are open. You can do this. Just do it step by step and don't let anyone upset you, this can be done.

your guardian will have to go to the social security adminstration building and apply for a new social sec. card. in many cases you will get a print out that you reapplyed for a new one and you can use that paper as verification of the original. it will take 2-4 weeks before you get another in the mail. also, if you can look at someone elses card there should be a number on it you can call.
