Can a person who is receiving Social Security Death Benefits continue receiving? |
payments from Social Security if the person remarries? I believe the answer is no. Can the person just say to Social Security that there is no marriage although the person is living with a significant other and still continue receiving the payments? If a person is receiving social security benefits due to their spouse being deceased and they remarry then they will stop getting the benefits. That is why sometimes they will not remarry. They cannot just say that they are living with a person if they are in fact married to the new person. They will get caught when they turn in their papers to change their name to the new married name with social security, If you remarry yes it will parable stop. So just shack up. Nothing wrong with being a live in booty call way not call social security and ask |
