About work permits and social security?

First, im not yet an American citizen but i've been here 3 years,
I got my social security, and im turning 16 in 2008. My question is:

Do I still need a work permit?

well it depends if you are officialy a US citizen if you are then foreign working papers are no longer needed just like regular US citezens, however you may need papers due to you age but then again you may not some places reguire it some dont

but more then likely you should be all set with working papers

but you should go to the town hall or state house and they should answer questions for you
