In the original Act was it specified that social security numbers NOT be used for non SSS identification? |
I seem to remember that originally, social security numbers were to be used only with the social security system, and not as identification for matters external to the system. Am I correct? If it was changed, when and why? Wouldn't surprise me. Income tax was supposed to be only during the duration of the War, but once they had their hands in our pockets they made the fascist decision to keep them there. You are correct. Apparently, it has been changed; I don't know the particulars. But anyone wanting a credit report will get it using your Social Security number. |
