Security clearances? if I was denied an interim clearance am I pretty much doomed, to get one period?

I am not sure why I was denied, I do have some credit issues, and an open court date but that is resolved now?

Clearances are tricky and I assume that it your first.

If you had a pending court case that would be cause for an immediate denial or at least pushing it up to the second level. So much depends on what it was all about in regard to why you might be able to appeal. Credit is a very big thing as well. What kind of job means much.

To deny you an interim clearance means much as well. With no detail nobody can answer.

yes, because the second one is alot more in depth and if you did not pass the first one the only way to pass the second one is to prove misinformation.
