Ask the Social Security Office for your number.

Each of your parents applied for a SSN for you SEPARATELY? You have TWO SSN's? Take your birth certificate to a SS office immediately. Something stinks in Denmark.

Visit your local Social Security Office

Given the current problems with ID theft, you will now have to go to the Social Security Office and show them ID , then they will review whatever numbers were given for you. ( If you don't yet have picture ID, take your birth certificate)

You should go to your social security office with acceptable proof or your identity--your birth certificate and one other piece of identity (see link below for suggestions). You should bring the social security card that you have from your mother. You should also try to bring both of your parents' social security numbers if you can get this information. Once social security is satisfied that you are who you say you are, they will track down what your other number is and help you straighten out the situation.
