Social security problems!?

When my boyfriend turned 18 he found out that his mother his older brother his SSN. Because the brother was illegal. Now after years of using it he is left with a a large debt to the IRS. In this situation what can he do?

I would be sure to be completely honest with the attorney so they can help you straighten out the issue / protect your interests. Good luck.

I would suggest that he contact an attorney. It sounds like a very complicated situation, and only an attorney with some experience in that area of law would be able to give worthwhile advice. If your boyfriend can't afford a private attorney, he may want to check with Legal Aid in his area. Good luck, and I hope he's able to achieve at least some resolution.
