How do you check it, just in case? And should you worry if your a teenager? Is it really that easy to steal with no actually proof that your that person?

I turned in my application at Wendy's but no one told me about my SSN and so I just put it down, but after I'm starting to worry. How do you check it?

You really don't have to worry about putting your SSN on a job application at Wendy's. They need the number to verify that you are legally able to work in the United States and your state, to deduct your taxes, and likely to create an employment file for you.

Don't sweat it. If you are really worried, you can get a free credit report to check for any inconsistencies at annualcreditreport.com and you can even set up fraud alerts with the credit reporting agencies to let them know you are worried about identity theft.

In this situation, in my opinion, I wouldn't sweat it .

they need it on a job application as you can't be hired without one. they have to deduct social security from your checks. I put mine on job applications. but when I apply for credit cards etc. I make up my mothers maiden name. then, if I get someone trying to steal my ID, when the companies start calling, I ask them what my mothers maiden name is. if it isn't right, I know where it came from.
