Where do i get info on collecting social security benifits from deceased spouse?

my ex husband died and never remarried. i remarried but we where married for 10 yrs. can i collect on his social security?

I THINK SO, CONTACT YOUR LOCAL SS OFFICE, ( LOOK IN YOUR PHONE BOOK) , OR PULL UP SOCIAL SECURITY ON THE WEB. THEY CAN ADVISE YOUR HOW TO HANDLE IT, YOU'LL NEED YOUR MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE AND DIVORCE PAPERS. IF YOU HAD CHILDREN WITH HIM, AND THEY ARE UNDER 18 YEARS OLD, THEY CAN DRAW BENIFITS ALSO.
