Are street vendors a Threat to our national security???

With tribe fever running at an all time high, some venders have added a few tee shirts to sell along with the other licensed shirts. The shirts the vendor made up said it's winning time for the tribe. Very different then it's tribe time.
Homeland security along with the FBI took all the unlicensed items and issued a ticket to appear in court.
Is this a threat to our nation?? Is this less government involvement??

The Tribe is what the Cleveland Indians Baseball team is known as to the locals. As for the threat to our nation isn't that what homeland security is suppose to be in charge of?? Just was trying to figure out what threat is going on that Homeland Security is involved in finding "pirated shirts".??

Exactly what is the problem?

bubble gum machines are a risk to security.

I tried, honestly, to answer this question TWICE.

But what is "tribe fever". And what do tee shirts have to do with the FBI?

Sorry - I really tried.

I can believe that FBI took the items, but I doubt homeland security had a hand in it. Their domain isnt copyright violations. as far as the slogan goes, the copyright may have had more to do with the graphics on the shirt than the words. No danger to our society or our nation. Just people protecting their legal rights to intellectual property.

could be
hey where have you been

Anything can be a threat to our national security...terrorism has no boundaries. But why live life in fear...

Whats next, my granddaughter's jump rope (could be used for hangings) or her brother's water pistol, (after all it is a gun isn't it)? Tee Shirts as Charlie Brown would say Good-Grief!!!

I don't think so. Street vendors are just vendors. Period. They sell their stuff for a living. It would sound preposterous that their presence would pose a threat to national security...unless they are selling something else like unlicensed guns, grenade and other military ammunitions. Tee shirts with slogan that in the opinion of our authorities may sound subversive, the vendors may be invited for questioning. But I don't think they can be arrested outright for national security reason.
