Does A Child Support Order Allow Access To Social Security Numbers?

Can someone answer me this? I am in the sate of New York and I was told once a man starts to pay child support that the father, mother and child social security numbers will be shown on all records meaning the father will have access to my social and the childs as well as me having access to his social Is this true? I do not feel comfortable with my daughters father having accesss to my social and my daughters social Anyone that has dealt with going through child support can they please answer this for me? Thank you!

No your social security number will not be made available to either party through the child support agency. More often than not however that information is known to all parties concerned.

The child support agency is under federal mandate and compulsion not to release the social security numbers or any other personal information to the parties.

Petition the court at your next child support/custody hearing and/or child support services to keep this information private. Contact an attorney, they have free legal aid with atty's that work for the city or pro bono (for free)

Ask the child support officer not to make this information public- or given out to the ex-bf/husband.
