How do you stop someone from using your social security number? |
I was robbed at gunpoint 5 days ago. In my purse were many forms of I.D., including a social security card. How would I alert someone(anyone) that the card was stolen and if anyone uses my s.s.n. for anything, it's probably not me? I would get your number changed ASAP! Report it to the Social Security Administration. They'll issue an Identify Fraud alert on your number |
