Stupid Social Security or postman?

Okay so I sent my marriage license in with other documents to change the name on my SS card. That was 2 months ago, I call the people today and they said my name hasn't been changed. Did the postman lose my freaking marriage certificate or is the office I sent it to full of incompetent people?

Instead of getting upset and hurling accusations, perhaps you should remember you are dealing with a government office. Bureaucracy moves at a snail's pace. It took 3 months to get copies of my parents' marriage certificate, and there were obviously no changes being made.

Where is my stuff!!!!! Like I want my social security card and license out in la la land!
They take awhile - they are slow. Call and ask if they received your stuff- they should know that part at least.
