If a store security guy approached you and accused you of taking something, but you didn't, what would you do

that actually happened to my younger sister when she was 15 and this security guard at sears told her she had stolen clothes which wasnt true and my sister refused to go with him and he grabbed her and took her to the back and didnt let my mom in with her and quetioned her. and of course she didnt take anything and i have no idea what made him think that cause we walked out with no bags and we werent even wearing jackets or anything. but long story short we sued and won some money and he was suspended from his job for awhile. Now what would i do if i was accused: well my sisters lawyer said if we would have let him take her down and handcuff her we would have won alot more money. so if i was innocent and there was no reason him for that accusation then... i think you know where im goin with this.

Strip down and show him that I had nothing to hide!

I would tell him that I didn't steal anything and prove it by showing him....

sue the store and the security for false accustations and for public humiliation.

Punch him and run out the door as fast as you can.

I would tell him so and walk away if he has no proof touching me is battery. and hes probably not a cop.

let them interrogate you, and make it clear you are innnocent. dont do anything rash, after youve declared your innocence, walk away.

Let him check me out and then mock him when he doesn't find anything. If he got rough, I would knock him out. But as long as I cooperate he would have no cause to get physical.

I would request a filmed search. With the understanding that if the guard was wrong I would receive a $1000.00 credit to the store.

I would not allow anything to take place without filming it.

well i would freak out and tell them to check the security tapes and look in my belongings after they checked the tapes... and if you are a minor, then i would tell them to call a family member of yours to come and get you... do you think they accused you for stealing because of stereotyping? cause that can seriously hit the fan!! sorry for your problems... hope you can get some help..

Call a lawyer and the police .Ask for the video ,All stores have them now .Then tell the manager of the store that you will be suing them for slander ,defamation of character and emotional abuse .Then sit back and watch their reaction .
If you really did not steal .If you did and threw it back and they have witnesses ,you will be jailed and have to pay for all COSTS.!
