What can a security guard carry LEGALLY in North Carolina.?

Whatever he is competently trained & certified for. How do you know he is just a security guard? Ever heard of private court sworn Police Officers? I'm one of them. I'm perceived as a security guard, and often receive then usual snotty "rent a cop" remarks from people who "think" they know it all.

I am Police academy trained. Have attended countless seminars. The only difference between me and municipal & State Police is, we are private. We do have the very same authority as they do. So, when some "know it all" gets locked up, he finds out little he really knows.

Just a heads up. That "security guard" may have more on the ball & authority than you are aware of.
