Why would the security alarms go off in shops when I walk out of the door (when I haven't pinched anything!)

I have just been shopping and 4 shops I went in to and left from the alarms went off?? I just carried on walking but felt like a right pratt lol .. Any suggestions??

I didn't buy anything !

from what you have all said I think its my mobile phone .. Thanks

it could be your mobile phone, this happened to my mum every time she went in and out of my local tesco's, it was really embarrassing for her but after it happened a few times the security guard just ignored it and told her to carry on

You may have had some thing on you that triggered them off or it was a coincidence.

Maybe it's your magnetic personality lol

Sometimes, they forget to take tags off items. That's happened to me more than once.

Your mobile phone can trigger them - has happened to me and it is sooooooo embarrassing!

it happens!

it could be the items you purchased we rent scanned properly, and if you are in a big shopping complex like Milton Keynes, then it will go off every time you exit a store as they are all linked up to the same security system

This happened to me one Christmas time in Norwich.I was called back while they went through all my bags. Can't tell you how embarrassing it was with people looking on.

I hadn't taken anything and after their search,I didn't even get an apology.I never shopped there again

ur mobile!

Its happened to me also it was my sliver cross pram i had at the time that set them off, don't use the pram anymore.
I also get loads of electric shocks in shops its really annoying aswell cos you dare not touch anything.

happened to me too 'a few times' dont worry about it. i dont think there are many people it hasnt happened too!!.
