How do I know I'm getting a good Social Security lawyer? |
My mom has nothing but problems with Binder & Binder in trying to get her social security. Their negligence caused her to be denied the first time. My question is, how do we find a good S.S. lawyer that we know will do good work for her, and be reliable and responsible when working on her case? Is there a place or a website to get referalls? Almost everyone is turned down the first time, whether you have a lawyer or not. you need to ask any attorney what their success rate is on SS claims. Most SS claims get turned down the first 2 times. From experience, if they wind up with most of your money and the settlement money then that is a good sign that they are really good. Unfortunately, you come out with less and they try to convince you that you won. Denial is automatic only the first request. Talk to them and see if they will give you a rational excuse. If not bail. |
