What is a NOTICE OF WITHDRAWL OF PETITION TO DETERMINE HOMESTEAD STATUS OF REAL PROPERTY? |
My Aunt who passed away left me money and I recieved a letter the "noticve to withdrawal" in the mail by my fathers lawyer...my father was left most of everyhting in the will and i beliveve is executor of the will..........the problem is him and I do NOT get along at all and I wouldnt put it past him to try and hold my money back from me........he lives in another state and so did my Aunt when she passed....I Dont have a lot of money to retain a lawyer to just look at this paper so I was wondering if some one could explain it to me..........it says .....The Petitioner through the undersigned attorney hereby files witht his court this notice of withdrawl of Petition to Determine Homestead Status of real Property and would state he withdraws the Petition to Dertimine Homestead Status of Real Property...........HELP what does this mean?? You really need to talk to an attorney. When you do, you should bring all the papers you have received relating to this matter. What you have quoted means nothing without knowing what the last pleading said. Talk to an attorney. |
