Can i do this if someone tp, rolles, wrapps, throw toilet paper in my tree's?

ok this kid in my class said to me that him and some friends are going to tp me im wondering if i can get a bb gun(gun that makes little noise but hurts like hell if u get hit)and shoot them i want this to be a last resort but what im thinking is wait until there almost on my property and turn on all the lights and let go on them i am going to have no trustpassing sighns on the property so i can make it seem like it legal
please dont give me any answers saying like u should hurt peaple or anything like that i want real answers that willl help me make a desision

Ok, I won't tell you that you shouldn't hurt people. I will inform you that the penalty for using excessive force (shooting a bb into the eye of a kid) will be much worse for you than the "trust"passing offense that they will be guilty of. Also, by knowing about this intended action and the expected damages and using a weapon (yes, in this case the bb gun is a weapon), your actions will be considered pre-meditated and the penalties will be more severe for you if anyone is damaged. In other words, if someone came running at your house with something in their hands and you shot them with your bb gun, you can claim self-defense. In your case, they have informed you of what they are planning and you must not over-react.
When/If they come, all you have to do is turn on the lights and open the door and they will run away. That may seem a little too easy for you to believe, but try that first before you damage someone else over something that is done mostly as a joke.

You could get arrested. Turn the hose on them instead. The BB gun could put someones eye out. =)

Your idea is dumb. Under the common law you cannot assault (which is what you are contemplating) a trespasser. If for instance you took out an eye, they would be able to sue you and your defense would be that they were trespassing on your property. The rebuttal to the defense would be "why didn't you call the police instead of shooting little Jimmy's eye out." Negligence is the failure to use reasonable care and by letting go at them you risk a negligence lawsuit. Your age will not protect you either.

You know this could just be the best thing for you. The next day people will be talking about how the rolled your house. It just might help you stand out if you have been thinking about asking a girl out. Like the first poster said, have some fun and turn the hose on them while they roll your house.

Ya getting your house rolled sometimes sucks because of the clean up ie rain or water really makes that crap stick. The best thing to do is remove it while its dry so that you can get the clean up done quickly. If you do hose them hose the rolls first because then they will be unable to fling them via the roll be wet and sticky.


Enjoy life because once its over, its over!, and if you are going for humor, go for the over all effect and not just dry humor.
