What kind of sentence do you think Carrie Underwood would get...?

if she actually did the same things in real life as in her new song:

"...I dug my key into the side of his pretty little souped up 4 wheel drive,
carved my name into his leather seats...
I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights,
slashed a hole in all 4 tires..."

And do you think it's ethically ok for her to be glorifying this kind of behavior to the adolescents and teenagers who idolize her? I know there are rappers who sing about violence and drugs, but they at least have to have a parental advisory sticker on their album then. Does Carrie Underwood have that sticker on her album? Are parents buying her album for their kids not knowing that she is glorifying the willful destruction of another's property?

She's a very contradictory person. Her first big hit was "Jesus Take the Wheel". I respected her until she came out with this. Maybe she's not singing about using guns and other weapons, but kids are more likely to have access to a baseball bat than to a gun! She is making it seem ok to kids that if someone hurts you, it's ok to break the law to get even, and that's not ok. If someone actually did that stuff, they should get a stiff fine at the very least. And I do think that parents who don't know the content of her songs should have some warning what they are allowing their children to listen to. They have the right to know and make a decision based on that knowledge.

if she had called him a mf or a ***** or a hoe she would have it on hers to

She is stating what any woman would want to do if they caught their man blonde, red or brunette handed. You would too, or are you the break your windshield type

She is WAY too hot and WAY too rich and famous for her to be charged with anything, just like every other celebrity, she'll pull through with some community service and a slap on the wrist. I do, however believe it is OK for her to portray this in her music video. At least she isn't promoting pulling out guns and shooting it out and isn't cussing all over the place, making another terrible example for our nations kids. Instead, she kills this guys truck and then walks right up and looks him in the eye; he should then know she did it , so she both gets her point across and, if he wants to sue her, so what, she got her justice. There is no way I would ever put a parental advisory sticker on that. Come on, there gets to a point where being politically correct is just plain ridiculous...

ha ha ha, this s.h.i.t. has been going on for years, why start fussing about it now? I think she should just be able to sell her music just like any other artist!!!!

I think the song means that she is mad enough to do that, and most girls in that spot would think the same thing, that's all. And in the song she said that she done that, I never heard her ask anyone else to help her. Your TV has an ON and OFF button, if not unplug it. Maybe you think you have some other way to spend your time that you like better.....I wonder what that is???
