What does "pursuant to" mean?

In reference to a paragraph in a contract written by an attorney addressing how real estate commissions were to be paid, the attorney said the commission shall be paid by the Seller on the first $13,250,000.00 of the Purchase Price pursuant to a separate agreement with the Seller.

鈥揳djective 1. proceeding after; following (usually fol. by to): Pursuant to his studies he took a job in an office.
2. pursuing.
鈥揳dverb Also, pur路su路ant路ly. 3. according (usually fol. by to): to do something pursuant to an agreement.
4. in a manner conformable (usually fol. by to): to act pursuant to the dictates of one's conscience.

From using the dictionary as reference it would seem that the commission shall be paid by the seller on the first 13,250,000.00 of the purchase price after there is clearance of any separate agreement with the seller.

How it is written in the other agreement. How it pertains to the agreement.

Based on...the payment is based on the separate agreement.

what is a dictionary? it is where I got this answer. pursuant means 'accordingly'

in accordance with

that to recieve this commission the agreement with the seller will have to agree to it, so basicly if the seller does not agree, it has almost no value. If it was not pursauant to any seller agreement then they would recieve it regardless.
