Information about Security Guard responsibilities?

As an assigned project, I am to interview a hotel security guard on:
1. What is the position known as?
2. What is this person鈥檚 scope of duties?
3. Who is their employer typically (hotel or private firm)?
4. To whom do they owe their duty - hotel or guests; police?

Any help from that PROFESSIONAL ARENA is greatly appreciated. Also, I would like to cite my references, so please provide the necessary information to do so. Thanks!

Contact a private security firm and see if you can talk to their people. Also you can contact a large hotel firm, which may have its own security operation.
