Question to brokers?

Please read http://www.geocities.com/vvcstudent2005/... and answer the question.

Imagine that you are an outside consultant assigned to a TD Waterhouse team charged with responsibility to "put an end" to customer service interruptions. One focus area you wish to explore is the need for a professional code of ethics, licensing, and/or certification of employees that have anything to do with the online brokerage systems. How would you assess if such actions are appropriate?

A professional code of ethics is a minimum requirement. Without a code, individuals can interpret ethical requirements to suit their situation. Licensing and certification again raises the competence level of employees resulting in fewer service failures and liability issues. These will protect the company in preventing lawsuits and strengthen the company's position if there are lawsuits.
