Discuss the public policy reasons supporting the imposition of strict products liability.?

After industrialization, the ability to make a whole lot of the same product exactly the same way became ubiquitous. And the party who is in the best position to correct any defects is the producer. Let's not wait for a few individual consumers to find the defects and suffer from them. The cost to fix the problem is going to be much lower for the manufacturer than for those purchasers, even if it is extremely infrequent, and the cost to fix is very high. The cost to society to use a negligence standard instead is too great.

On top of that, proving negligence itself is a huge cost that is not worth it to society to endure. Strict liability lowers this cost of proof.
