Where can i find a Texas probate attorney to work Pro Bono or on a contingency? |
My grandfather passed away in February this year. My 5 yr old daughter and I found out a few weeks later when we went to visit him. bar association is a great idea, but it has already been tried. ... What my uncle did was wrong and I want somebody to do something about it! But it seems that my case is so complicated that nobody wants to touch it without a ton of money up front. This is SO NOT RIGHT!! Even more than I'm upset about being cheated out of money - I am angry at the people who hid the truth and made my 5 yr old and I find out the way we did. (traveling hundreds of miles to see him and having a stranger answer the door and say he's gone) Call one or more of the law schools in Texas and find out who the Professors are that teach the Probate Law classes. One of them should be able to point you to one of their former students who might be inclined to help you, either pro bono or on contingency. A Professor might also give you some information to help you or might even decide to make your case a "class project". Call your local bar association. |
