Pressing Charges Against Casino Hotel For Bug Bite?

Could someone press charges against a Casino Hotel for having a bug bite you in bed? Causing insomnia to the person who get bit and afraid to sleep. Would it be considered a personal injury or what?

Would it be considered a personal injury or what?

It would be considered absolutely ridiculous. That's what.

The law varies from country to country, so it depends which country you are in.

Generally, to claim damages for a personal injury you have to prove negligence.

Was the the hotel negligent? Did they put the bug in your room?

If the hotel was clean, and cleaned regularly, then the hotel was not negligent. The bug may have entered through an open window, so it might be your fault if you left the window open.

If however, the hotel was filthy and likely to attract bugs, the hotel might be negligent, but a court might ask why, if it was so filthy, did you stay there!

Oh give me a break! People want to sue about everything these days. I mean seriously, how much sleep did you lose?

Just be a decent person and complain by letter to the management so maybe they will be more aware of the hotel's problems. If you sue you hurt the hotel staff who in the end, lose salary and maybe jobs to pay any funds you gain. You also hurt others because hotel raises fees to cover cost of fighting your lawsuit.

I know some people might poke fun and say stupid things but it has happened.

I saw something on the news where people are afraid to rent hotel rooms because of the bed bugs.

It was very nice upscale hotels and it even showed photos. Some people were really bitten all over and some not to bad.

I would worry also if I were bitten up from a hotel bed.

You might want to contact an attorney. Or look up info on cases that have already been filed.

Yeah, you can sue, but you had better be able to prove they put it there with the intention of biting you, and of course, they will counter that you could have carried it in yourself without knowing, so lots of luck, lol

Is that a serious question.
So your permanently afraid of sleeping due to a bug bite once in your life.. RIIIIIIIGHT
Get a life! It not like the casino PUT the bug there!

i would hope your a mature adult about this and not sue the hotel for something that caused minimal damage something that most people would forget about in an instant
