What is your opinion of personal injury and civil attorneys?

Do they provide a valuable and neccessary service to society, or are they slip and fall hacks who will sue anyone for any reason to make a buck?

Every one talks bad about a lawyer until they have been injured in some manner then its get me the meanest baddest lawyer they can find

Well in the constitution is states that you still can take someone to court for the amount of $20, it hasn't been amended. I think that personal injury suits are too often taken to court but are necessary for those, for example, get hit by a car. It is also necessary for those whose families lose in criminal court, but can, for example, sue for wrongful death. Some people do go to court just to get as much money as possible, but there are people who honestly do need to go.

As for the attorney's there is nothing that can be done. Because the constitution does say that everyone is entitled have to an attorney. So I guess you could say they're their weight in gold.

There are quite a few out there who are blood-thirsty vultures. But a lot of lawyers are just trying to help people out to the fullest extent of the law; in every case, lawyers are bound by professional rules to act as a zealous advocate for their client. I think classifying lawyers as a whole is unfair, because there are a few who ruin the professional opinion for the rest of us.

I've met one attorney in my entire life that I trust. The rest of them are bloodsucking creatures that prey on normal folk.
