Arbitration in non-auto personal injury case -- what documents or evidence should my attorney have submitted? |
All my attorney submitted to the arbitrator were some medical receipts. The arbitrator ruled in favor of defense with award of -0- to me. Hello Shaggy. It sounds as though your attorney got his license off a cereal box mail in. Arbitration is two sides sitting down and showing why they are in contention. All your attorney did was show medical expenses, which, by itself, is not indicitive of WHY you were injured or the other party being at fault. Need more facts to answer this question. Sounds like your attorney entered in evidence for damages only. It seems like doctor's records to show injury would have been helpful, but again, it is extremely fact sensitive. Cannot answer this question without knowing a) what the arbitration was over, and b) what evidence was actually available (but not submitted). |
