If there's African American,what do we call the white Americans? "What about the Native" Americans Whos native

My thing is if The African American are from africa where are the white Americans from? if this race is not origionally from America so why is this race deamed to be'Americans' and The Native race is called Native Americans.

We call ourselves Native becuase the Creator put us here, not anywhere else. The whole Bering Straight thing is BS. We are smart enough to know where we are from-its no mystery to us.

If your descendants are Native to Europe, then youre European. Asia, then Asian. You people came from somewhere and it wasn't here, so do some research. if you just dont know, fine, call yourself Native American and see how that works out for you. I bet you'll find it dosent work out too good. Most Indians I know prefer to go by our first names anyway.

The "native" race is called the native race because that's what they choose to call themselves. They are no more "native" than you are as at some point in time their ancestors also emigrated from somewhere else. It may have been 10,000 years ago but that does that make them "more" native.

They are not the first people here as those people came almost 40,000 years earlier and were wiped out along with a wide array of animal species by those who call themselves native Americans.

If how long your ancestors have been here makes you a "native", then I am more native than most because my Grandfathers European family has been here since the 1600's. My Grandmothers native family is Cherokee.

I just get tired of the perpetuation of the separation of people in this country by small minded people following self serving leaders.

We can call ourselves whatever we want, but we're ALL still Americans, period, including the ones you named. I've heard European Americans, German Americans, Italian Americans (ad infinitum), but we are all just people.

I get tired of hearing the term "African American" pertaining to people born here.I am a second generation Italian,born and bred american.I do not call myself "Italian American".This is just nonsense and most people agree.I have many black friends that agree also and do not call themselfs,"African Americans".A person born in America is an "AMERICAN"

Yeah, if you wanna get technical, most of the white people in the U.S. came from Europe. We don't call ourselves European American. It's just the governments little way of acting like they are helping to preserve the heritages they raped and pillaged. So they coin the terms Native American and African American.
