If a native American tribal council is corrupt, and your a member of that tribe, who do you turn to for help?

esspecially, if they have been taking cash from there childrens IA accounts, and sinking it into a company they say that they have no part of,( have done it many times before, scam after scam and getting rich off the goverment, but making the people go broke) but happen to own shares in, who do I contact? ive tried the senotor in ND, but it seems no one is listening

you need to bring it up with the people, a letter to the editor, its the community that will be hurting from this behavior. You might also have to look into your councils policy, because this is something that could and probably will get the council kicked off. But the community definately needs to know what is going on, also, try contacting the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA): (202) 208-3710

You can try this Trust Beneficiary Call Center (888) 678-6836 ext.888. Monday thru Friday. I have used it a lot.
