My husbands son's military id is about to expire can his ex wife take him to get a new one with out poa?

My husbands son's military id is about to expire can his ex wife take him to get a new one with out poa?

Yes. But the son will have to have two things with him in order for the ex to bring him onto a military installation:

1. His current (about to expire) ID
2. DD Form 1172 (ID Application) signed by your husband and your husband's command.

She'll most likely have to show that she is the child's custodian and have an ID as well.

Since he is a military dependant she should be able to. Your husband can make arrangements for her to get a temporary pass so she can take him.

Military ID's have pictures on them and need to be signed. His Son would need to go get it.
