If someone is giving you a lawsuit for a automobile accident, do i have to wait till the lawsuit is over to?

enlist in the military?

man i want to enlist so bad but this man who hit my car is making my life miserable by suing me for 50 000 i have attorney and we are about to do deposition but man how long is this going to take! i mean it what can i do?

Pending 'criminal' action prevents you from being able to enlist in the military.

Pending 'civil' action - a lawsuit - does not.

Richard

You can still enlist, but keep in mind that when you enlist you are put into the Delayed Entry Program. So even when you sign the papers it can take up to a YEAR before you actually leave for basic training.

Why on earth am I being thumbs downed?

Settle.
