Completely agree, is it not direct violation of our freedoms & shredding constitution to pieces.

"When the government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny." ~Thomas Jefferson

America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.
~ Abraham Lincoln

Those who would sacrifice their freedom for security deserve neither freedom or security.
~ Benj. Franklin

Truth is the Patriot act is bascially another wste of government money. Just adding another new government agency. The problem is our government is BROKE and have no more new money to do anything.

They could sell land to make money or increase tax everywhere like they are doing now in many cities.

yes they are

rickinnocal: you are saying they debated on it , when it wasnt written , it was just a bunch of blank paper with a title on it

how can you debate and vote on something, when you have no ideal of what it is

but i guess that is how our goverment has been run for over 30 years , and that is why we are in the trouble we are in now

hit them where it hurts at the ballot box

vote 3rd party

I believe the attempted genocidal killing of all members of an ethnic group in a country(ies) under a particular government's control is an act of tyranny. don't believe the patriot act intended to save lives should be thrown into the same category

Yes, they break many of the founding fathers constitutional rights that where established originaly in your coutry hundred of years ago. I am not even from the US and know this.

No.

They are legitimate laws debated and passed by both houses of the US Congress, which are composed of members elected by us. After being passed they were signed into law by the President, who is also elected by us.

Richard

Yes, they are. I wish people would wake up to these facts before it is too late!

Not no not I not don't not think not that not they not are...not.
