How come women don't recieve equal punishment as men?

If they want to be considered equal in the world why aren't we holding them epual on every level?

They aren't exposed to direct combat in the military.
They are give prefrential treatment in courts.
Their crimes are overlooked by police more often.

And I could go on and on

I agree that woman and men should be equal. And the thing that pisses me off is how some women can say whatever they want to say and the law is in favor of them They are liers!

I think that its that people don't want to get sued... Thats the biggest reason... Because women are considered minorities... (which is stupid because theyer are more women then men) And its really easy for woman to manupulate the system

I agree. Everyone, inorder to have equal rights, has to be exposed to the same effect/consicence. I am a woman and i agree, although i want my equal rights.

=]

By the way keep in mind that woman get pregnant and have periods

i think alot would love to have the same opportunities in the military, but your other arguments are valid, it has been that way for 10,000 years and set in stone, it will never change.

If you could document your question, if would be more significant. I see court actions every day and cannot discern any significant difference in the sentences for men and women for the same crimes.

cause the society treats them as fragile.
