Do you think the drinking age should be lowered?

i mean, 18 year olds are allowed to get blown up in war, but they can't go to a casino and gamble or have a drink? COME ON. either the military age should be at 21 or the drinking age/casino age should be at 18.

I agree, i was 18 when I went to Vietnam....and could drink...........
I would rather raise the military age...You should not be killing people at 18....................need to be a little older to cope with it.........

It should be lowered, but lowered with visible consequences for drinking and driving, such as losing their driver licenses for life for the first offense. or a three month work camp.

If it is lowered, then it is possible that a lot of the stigma about drinking will be lost.

oh yeah, Parents teach your ******* kids.

I live in Canada where the drinking age is 19. Lets be honest - most of us had experiences with drinking far before that age. It doesn't make sense that you can vote and got to war, putting your life at risk at 18, but not have a beer legally til your 21. If you are legally considered an adult at 18, then you should be able to adult decisions, including what your limits are.

No, in the UK it should be 21, because of all the underage drunken idiots causing trouble, in some pubs where i live you have to be 21 to enter.

Nope, it should be raised even higher. Everyone does stupid things when they are drunk. Kids deserve a right to live to adulthood before driving drunk and killing themselves.

If you have a military I.D.,you should be treated as an adult...but a person under 21 who has not,or is incapable,of making that commitment should not...

The drinking age should NOT be lowered it should stay the same.
