I was wondering since the legal age to own a handgun was 21. I was wondering on a pistol Are you talking about a hunting rifle or a machine gun or pistol? You should check state law in the state you're residing or stationed in. You should also check things out with the MPs or the base's JAG office. NO one needs to own a handgun.
