Early termination of probation?!!? |
I am on first offender status felony probation. I recieved 5 years probation, 120 hours community service, and restitution and fines totaling roughly 2,300. My question is how early would i be able to get off probation if i was planning on going into the military? Perhaps another question would be, when would be a good time to do a motion for early termination after everything was paid and settled? I am on mail in status currently and only have to pay off the fines then i will be non-reporting. Can someone please give me some advice or insight on what i could do to speed up the process of getting into our beloved military??? First offender status is not a conviction. Is a basically a second chance. When probation is done and the criteria is met the record to the act is sealed and expunged. Meaning it is as if it never happened. Yes i could still go into the military. But, not while im on probation. So the question still remains, when is the earliest i can get off probation or request and be likely to get early termination of probation? Um....as far as I know, if you are a convicted felon, you can't serve in the military I understood that you can't serve in the military if you are a convicted felon. |
