Seeking advice regarding military abuse?

I am looking for some advice on military abuse..somebody very close to me had gone on a tour of duty to Iraq. He was there for 8 months and treated horribly by some in his unit. He was born and raised overseas, his religion is Muslim. He joined the service to give back to this country, and never thought he would be treated this way..he was cursed at, made fun of, descriminated against his religion, had something written about him that is nowhere near true, wasnt given food because all that was ordered was pork (which he doesnt eat) was told dont worry about praying who is allah anyway. Was asked if he taught his children how to hurt others and was called some other names..(that I would rather not type). What is there that can be done he has spoken to the higher ups and now they are all giving him a hard time and he was told that his rank would be taken away and his salary reduced. He was told that there is no military lawyer or a civilian lawyer that he can speak to. Any advice please.

sorry the correction is that the lunch that was taken out on a tour was only pork...one day

yes, don't believe what he says. there are many outlets to protest treament like that (which I doubt)

The AG office has lawyers for him.

There are 1000's of Muslims in the US armed services proudly serving along side other Americans.

All that was ordered was pork..what BS, the meals are planned months in advance and beef and chicken are served much more than pork. There is plenty of food for any one on any diet to eat. There are 10,000 and more jewish people who do not eat pork. BS on that

I call BS
