After the recent shooting in a Mall in Nebraska, I think the government should ban citizen the right of armory

I think the guns for private citizen shall be banned.
Congress is reconsidering the gun law. And I strongly urge them to put guns only in those hands of the military, and the police and national guards. The rest of the guns shall be taken away . Too much crime with them. What do you all think? How many more inoccent lives must be lost before we act?

We, CANADIANS, have known this, forever! God bless! All the guns that KILL our youth, come U.S.A.! It is an outrage, that WE accept this! I Do Not Think So! Why? Why? Why? I've heard the "mother's" ask! Get rid of HAND GUNS,,, NOW!! PLEASE?

Because our stringent drug laws have completely taken drugs off the street. Oh, wait...

Bottom line is that criminals are going to get their guns, no matter how illegal they are. Armed criminals and unarmed law abiding citizens is not the way to go.

Yes, there will be people who just snap, and kill someone. But one of the downsides of freedom is that people will misuse that freedom.

It will never happen. I think all automatic weapons, maybe even semi-automatic, should be banned, along with larger caliber weapons and specialty bullets, like armor piercing bullets.

How many times do we have to go over this?

If guns are outlawed, only outlaws have will have guns.

If he wanted to kill people, all he'd have to do is buy a gun on the black market. OR, not even use a gun. Make a pipe bomb. Drive a car over a crowded sidewalk.

Taking guns away from law abiding citizens will not stop homicidal maniacs.

This may be a minority view, but I think more citizens should have guns. These citizens should be licensed however. If there had been a permit carrying gun owner at the mall, perhaps he/she could have put an end to that tragedy sooner.

handguns here have been strictly licensed since 1932 ,you wouldn't wanna get arrested in Canada with an unlicensed handgun, the moods a little nasty on that at the moment have had a few too many gun battles here as of late

Banning guns won't stop criminals from getting them. Look at places with strict gun control laws (ie. Washington DC, New York City, etc.) and see that they have high crime rates. Switzerland requires every of age male to carry a firearm, yet they have a low crime rate.

Please educate yourself because you obviously did no research on this subject.

You are so wrong young lady, The criminal and drug addicts will always get guns one way or another
Yes I am a gun buff, I love hunting and never kill what I won't eat, I keep some loaded guns in my home to protect my family. I will not use one to rob someone or place.
Your question makes it sound like you work for the Government, and wish to put a stop to more of our rights
Yes, theyre are way to many people who have guns and shouldnt, and I have to include some hunters even, who get careless and stupid or carry alchohol while hunting BIG NO NO BUT REMEMBER if we are forced into martial law, We will be worse off than we are now Because the druggy and criminal element will always find a way to get firepower, and knowing people are unarmed they will have a hayday They will only take my GUNS when they pry my cold dead fingers away from them

No every law biding citizen should have a gun, so if someone breaks in then they can be shot and if that is known then dont you think prople would think,,,"well if i break in i may die". that will stop alot of crime, they have guns why shouldn't we as citizens.

Well...even if soo, there will still be ways for criminals to recieve weapons and now innocent civillians r in deeper crap and are more vulnerable.

It would be GREAT to live in your world, but - reality intervenes.
The magic trick you've failed to pull off is to convince the criminals to follow the law.
